This weekend’s Holy Child Catholic School Craft Fair is expected to have the largest number of vendors participating since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, organizer Lauren Ellsworth said.
She said more than 70 vendors are scheduled to be at the fair, set for 5-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in the gym and lower-floor meeting room at the school, 2316 Church Road, in Arnold, next to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 2300 Church Road.
“I’m excited because this is the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic that we will be using the lower level,” Ellsworth said. “We have substantially more vendors than we have had since 2020, and that is really exciting.”
Ellsworth said this is the ninth year the school has held the craft fair, and it typically attracts about 300 customers.
Proceeds from the event will be used to help fund a mystery trip for the eighth-grade class.
She said a wide variety of items will be sold at the fair.
“There will be a lot of things for people to buy for Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers,” she said. “There will be handmade jewelry; woodwork, like charcuterie boards; crochet items; homemade salsa and candles.”
