Those looking for something to fill an Easter basket or to spruce up their home for spring may find just what they need at the upcoming Fox High School Spring Craft Fair.

The Fox High School Parents’ Club will hold the annual craft fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 9, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, in the school’s gym and commons area at 715 Jeffco Blvd. in Arnold.

“The Parents’ Club is thankful for everyone who shows interest in our fairs because it helps the students at Fox, and we couldn’t do it without them” said Tracy Paul, a Fox High School Parents’ Club member and craft fair organizer.

Paul said more than 125 vendors are scheduled to be at the fair.

“We can’t wait to see our regular vendors, but we are excited too about all of the new vendors this time,” she said. “More than half of the vendors this spring are new vendors.”

Paul said food trucks will be on hand at the fair.

“We will have kettle corn, snow cones, funnel cakes and fried treats,” she said. “Antojitos de Guatemala will be there also, which sells street tacos, fried plantains, tamales and a variety of Latin dishes.”

Paul said the Parents’ Club plans to use some of the money from the fair to help the high school purchase a new tarp system, which is used when non-athletic events, like the fair, are held in the gym.

She also said money from the fair will fund scholarships for Fox High seniors to continue their education. Some money from the fair will be used to fund school club activities.

Paul said the Parents’ Club hopes to expand the craft fair next spring.

“Fox Parents’ Club shows have been growing so much that I have to turn more and more applicants away when we sell out,” she said. “We are hoping by next spring to work out opening the small gym for extra booth spaces. Fox has been having these shows for so long, and it’s just time to expand our area.”

The Fox Parents’ Club plans to hold a fall craft fair on Nov. 2-3.
