Fox High Fall Craft Fair set for this weekend

The annual Fall Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Fox High School, 751 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold.

The annual Fall Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Fox High School, 751 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold.

Shoppers wanting to get ready for the holiday season may find what they are looking for this weekend at Fox High School, 751 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold.

The Fox High School Parents’ Club will hold its annual Fall Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the school’s two gyms and commons area.

“Shoppers will find everything that they need for everyone on their holiday lists,” said Melissa Lampe, a Fox High School Parents’ Club member. “There are a variety of vendors selling items. People who come will be able to find things that they need and want to have a happy holiday.”

Lampe said 133 vendors will sell items throughout the weekend. She said more than 100 of those vendors have sold items at Fox High craft fairs before, and there will be 26 new vendors at this weekend’s craft fair.

Lampe said some of the returning vendors include Plants N Things, which sells houseplants, enamel pins, pots and macrame; Sixth and Sunshine, which sells laser engraved, 3D printed and UV printed wooden maps, ornaments and games; and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, which sells an array of beverages.

“We believe their items are popular due to the quality of their products, the pride they have in their business and the connections they make with customers,” Lampe said.

Lampe said some of the new vendors include Chandlers’ Pride Candle & Calming Co. LLC, which sells handcrafted small batch candles, wax melts, room sprays, hanging car diffusers, linen mists, body butters, body oils, beard oils, beard balms, epuree mists, cold processed soap, foaming hand soap and fine fragrances; and Tilted Heads, which sells pet treats, bandanas, collars and bowties.

“We are very excited to have 26 new vendors at the fair this year,” she said. “The Fox High School Craft Fair is very established in our community. People come to sell their items, and the community comes out to support the vendors, school district and community.

“I believe people will enjoy the shopping experience while supporting a great cause for the students at Fox High School.”

Lampe said the Parents’ Club also will be collecting coat donations throughout the fair this year.

The club is primarily collecting coats for high school-aged students between the ages of 13-18, and the coats will be distributed to Fox High students who need them. Lampe said coats that are not the correct size for high school students will be distributed to students attending Fox C-6 School District’s middle or elementary schools.

She said the club is holding the coat drive because a social worker told Parents’ Club members that the school had run out of coats to distribute as the winter season approaches.

“We are asking for the community to bring a new or gently used coat, if they can,” Lampe said.

The Parents’ Club typically holds two craft fairs each year with one in March and the other in November. About 1,300 people shopped at this year’s Spring Craft Fair, and the club collected about $11,000 from that event.

Money from the fair is used to fund scholarships awarded to Fox High seniors to continue their education, help pay for school club activities, purchase items that Fox High teachers request for their classrooms, buy teacher lunches and pay for conference dinners.
