The Special Olympics Young Athletes is a free early childhood play program for children with and without intellectual disabilities, ages 2 to 7 years old. The program introduces basic sport skills, such as running, kicking and throwing. Sibshops provide support and guidance to siblings of children with special medical or developmental needs. Siblings of all ages are encouraged to share challenges and celebrate the joys with brothers and sisters in similar situations. Play, eat snacks and learn.
