Partnered with Midwest Recycling Center, Festus High School’s Environmental Club members will be there to help unload paper, plastic, aluminum, metal, electronics and appliances as needed.

40/8 Mineral Area Voiture 1321 barbecue, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 17, Buchheit, 200 Riverview Plaza Drive, Herculaneum. The menu includes pork steaks, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, bratwursts, and 1/4-pound hot dogs, with bottled water and soda available for purchase. The barbecue supports nurses' training and child welfare.
