City of Festus Spring Cleanup, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Festus Public Works side parking lot, 950 N. Fifth St. Sponsored by Waste Connections and the city of Festus. Waste Connections will collect appliances, computers, stereos, water heaters, furnaces, furniture and more free of charge for city of Festus residents. Limit of one television per household. Appliances with refrigerant must have a certification of removal. A limited amount of construction debris will be accepted as long as nails have been removed. Yard waste accepted including limbs cut down to 4 feet, leaves and grass clippings (no plastic bags or full trees).
