While La Pachanga Mexican Restaurant in Herculaneum has a tradition of good food, drinks and lively entertainment, and new menu choices, such as a creamy dessert-style alcoholic beverage, is sure to become a new favorite.
The restaurant will soon be adding soft-serve margaritas to the menu, spokesperson Marie Stelling said.
La Pachanga, which is located at 1185 Scenic Drive in Herculaneum, won two awards in the Leader’s Best of Jefferson County section: Best Mexican Restaurant and Best Bingo.
La Pachanga hosts bingo every Thursday along with food and drink specials.
“You’re not gonna have a better time than when you are at La Pachanga,” Stelling said.
She said the general manager, Joel Rebollo, makes the atmosphere fun.
“He participates and interacts with everybody,” Stelling said. “He’s always dancing and singing.”
Though Stelling said Rebollo contributes to more than just the fun, he is also in charge of creating new food and drink items.
“He makes people feel like family and to him they are his family,” Stelling said. “He truly cares.”
When not hosting bingo, the restaurant holds a variety of other events.
Stelling said La Pachanga’s recent Cinco De Mayo party was a huge success. The event included live music, drinks and a mechanical bull.
“That was just an absolutely incredible turnout,” Stelling said.
The next Cinco De Mayo event is already scheduled for next year and will take place on Saturday, May 1.
La Pachanga is also hosting a tequila tasting event during Twin City Days in September.
Tickets are $60 per person and will include tequila tasting and food pairings as well as information on tequila styles, production methods and flavor profiles.
