Nothing Bundt Cakes plans to open mid-May in Arnold, selling cakes in a variety of sizes and flavors.

A bakery specializing in bundt cakes is coming to Arnold.

Nothing Bundt Cakes plans to open a location by mid-May at 834 Arnold Commons Drive in the Arnold Commons development, marketing representative Joey Fagas said.

The bakery franchise, which started in 1997 in Las Vegas, now has 500 locations in the U.S. and Canada, according to its website.

Jannette Neely will own the Arnold location. She also owns locations in Chesterfield, St. Peters, Brentwood, Wentzville and Columbia.

“We have always known we wanted to be in the Arnold area since we opened our first Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery in April 2015 in Chesterfield,” Neely said. “It is part of our growth in the market. We are always asked, when are you going to south St. Louis County and Jefferson County? We know they are excited for us to be there. I grew up in this area, and I am very happy to bring the bakery to Arnold.”

Nothing Bundt Cakes has 10 signature flavors: Reese’s chocolate peanut butter; red velvet; chocolate chocolate chip; white chocolate raspberry; lemon; strawberries and cream; snickerdoodle; confetti; carrot; and classic vanilla. A gluten-free chocolate chip cookie option also is available.

“The four most popular flavors are chocolate chocolate chip, red velvet, white chocolate raspberry and lemon,” Fagas said. “The lemon is by far my favorite.”

Fagas said each bundt cake is handcrafted, and it is not a traditional bundt cake.

“I remember back in the day when you ate grandma’s bundt cake, it was dry and crumbly,” she said. “Ours are very moist. They are delicious. There is nothing like them.”

The bakery offers 8-inch, 10-inch and tiered bundt cakes. Bundtlets – personal bundt cakes crowned with cream cheese frosting – are sold, as are bundtinis – mini bundt cakes crowned with cream cheese frosting and sold by the dozen, according to the company’s website.

“They are the go-to,” Fagas said of the bundtinis. “Everybody loves those. It is a good sampling. People go for them for weddings because people can pick their flavor. They also make great gifts for client appreciation, employe appreciation, birthdays and anything like that.”

“We are a niche in bringing the joy with bundt cakes,” Neely said. “We have 11 core flavors and four sizes and bake and frost onsite with only premium ingredients. Although we are in the bundt bakery business, we consider ourselves in the gifting industry helping our guests bring the joy with bundt cakes.”

The shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

There is no seating in the shop. Orders may be made in person or online at nothingbundtcakes.com.

Fagas said the shop will offer catering and delivery.

She also said she has been receiving positive feedback since announcing the bakery is coming to Arnold.

“I have been out in Arnold sharing cake, and people are so excited,” she said. “It has been very well received. There also are some people who haven’t heard of us, so we are building excitement.”
