A 7 Brew drive-thru coffee stand is expected to open this month in Arnold.
The coffee stand, 1275 Jeffco Blvd., is slated to hold a grand opening event on Oct. 20, said Rem Eiler, director of development for a franchise group led by Brandon Sebald of Arkansas.
“We are always looking for communities where we can bring out the connection, energy and speed that we are known for,” Eiler said. “They (Arnold) have a great local community, and we think there will be a strong demand for our drive-thru coffee.”
The stand will begin operating daily starting on Oct. 27. It will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Eiler said there will be community hours from 7-8 a.m., noon to 1 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. on Oct. 27-31 when every customer in a vehicle may receive a free small beverage.
“If you come through with the family, everyone gets a drink,” he said.
A swag day will be held on Nov. 1. Customers who order a large drink will receive a free T-shirt.
The stand is at the site where the former Long John Silver’s restaurant operated in the Water Tower shopping plaza off Jeffco Boulevard before closing in August 2024.
The franchise group demolished the former Long John Silver’s building and built a 510-square-foot coffee stand that has two drive-thru lanes and a 280-square-foot cooler building.
Along with the two drive-thru lanes, the stand will have a walk-up window to serve customers. There is no seating at the location, Eiler said.
The 7 Brew online menu lists a wide variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, as well as energy drinks, lemonades, teas, smoothies, shakes, fizz drinks and other beverages.
Eiler said customers may choose from more than 20,000 unique flavor combinations.
He also said customers do not need to feel overwhelmed by the variety of options because employees who take drive-thru orders will help people with their selections.
“Our people love to narrow it down for you,” Eiler said. “If you are a first-timer and have no idea what 7 Brew is or what you might want, we can help you out and find something that is good for you. There is something for everyone.”
Eiler said 7 Brew takes pride in its drive-thru experience and customer service, adding that the goal is for customers not to wait in the drive-thru lane for longer than five minutes.
“Without a doubt what makes us unique is our drive-thru experience,” he said.
“You can get a coffee at any old coffee shop, but we hire people who are fun and positive.”
Eiler said the stand will employ between 70 and 80 part-time employees. Those interested in working at 7 Brew may apply online at 7brew.com.
“We have a lot of people who we are very happy with,” he said.
“We are still in the hiring process, and we are about halfway full (as of Sept. 17). There are plenty of opportunities still.”
The Sebald group has sites in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana, Eiler reported.
The 7 Brew website says the overall company has 481 stands.
The Sebald group opened a stand in August at 606 S. Truman Blvd. in Festus. Eiler said that location sells, on average, more than 10,000 drinks a week.
“Festus is going great,” he said. “We have been super happy with the results of that one.”
