The right place: Palmero believes Jefferson County is poised for growth
Realtor Traci Palmero makes a bold prediction: Jefferson County, especially the Festus area, is about to grow, and quickly.
She thinks development in Jefferson County will rival growth in St. Charles County and Wildwood.
As a listing agent, Palmero stands ready to help homebuyers navigate the tumultuous real estate market. She recently partnered with longtime realtor Jim Siebert. Together, Palmero Home Team offers more than 30 years of home-selling experience.
“Festus is growing wildly, and home values have been going up and are not going to come back down,” Palmero said. “The infrastructure is here. The growth is here. We are going to reap the benefits.”
Palmero says change is on the horizon for the homebuying market.
“I am feeling a little shift in the market,” she said. “2020 was fraught with challenges. At the beginning of this year, buyers were frantic. Now, we are coming at things with a little more common-sense perspective. I believe realtors who helped their clients understand the true nature of the market were the realtors who were truly successful.
“It’s amazing when someone entrusts you to find the place where they are going to build their family memories,” she said. “Being part of their life journey fills me with so much pride.”
Palmero has been a real estate agent for six years and especially enjoys working with first-time homebuyers. She said it makes her day when a client tells her, “I could not have done this without you.”
Maybe it’s a first-time homebuyer at age 60, or a single mom who lost her husband – Palmero loves to help.
“It’s amazing,” she said.
Palmero work with Remax Best Choice, 1510 Parkway West, in Festus. She belongs to both the Remax Hall of Fame and the Remax Chairman’s Club.
