Comfort Cabinetry offers design, installation that fits
Kristy Carder, designer and owner of Comfort Cabinetry in De Soto, says the best kitchens, baths and closets start with a conversation.
“Usually, I start by asking what you like and what you don’t like,” Carder said.
And thus, the design process begins.
The company provides design services for new construction or remodels, and cabinetry and installation for all areas of a home, including kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, closet systems and built-ins.
“We will come to your home, measure and discuss design and function. It’s not what I want to sell you, it’s what you want. We want whatever space we remodel to feel like home.”
After many years in the marketing and design industry, Carder opened Comfort Cabinetry about four years ago. It was a natural next step.
“My husband was a kitchen and bath installer, and I helped him with his business and loved everything about building a home and designing the space,” she said. “My dad was an architectural builder.”
Comfort Cabinetry handles all parts of design and installation. “We can do everything from just supplying the product to handling the complete renovation,” she said.
Carder said a professional helps homeowners avoid costly mistakes.
“We make sure the space is functional and flows properly,” she said.
Comfort Cabinetry provides guidance on style, too.
For example, Carder said, farmhouse style has exploded in popularity.
“I don’t think it’s going out anytime soon,” she said.
