Yvonne Zoellner Houston, 55, of Imperial died May 25, 2019, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mrs. Houston was a database analyst for Edward Jones for 24 years. She also was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial. She loved the outdoors and particularly enjoyed going on float trips, riding her Sea-Doo watercraft or just relaxing by the ocean. She loved volleyball, which she played her whole life and coached for many years. Yvonne was an avid sports fan and followed the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, as well as the Rams when they played in St. Louis. She loved to spend time with family and friends and frequently set up parties and excursions for them.
Born Feb. 17, 1964, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Clara (Politte) and Rich Zoellner.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years: Rob Houston of Imperial; three children; Julia, Lexi and Caleb of Imperial; two siblings: Jeff (Serina) Zoellner and Laura (Chris) Dickey; a nephew: Ricky Zoellner; and a niece: Audrey Dickey.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Rich Zoellner.
Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6020 Old Antonia Road, in Imperial, officiated by the Rev. Dan Shaughnessy. Burial will be in Imperial. Arrangements are under the direction of Legacy Funeral Services.
