William “Bill” Earl Fahland, 83, of Farmington died June 10, 2019. Mr. Fahland was a U. S. Army medic stationed in Africa. He worked as a forklift mechanic for Crown Cork and Seal Co. Inc. until his retirement. He was an accomplished woodworker, and he collected coins, lighthouses and ships. He also loved to dance. Born March 14, 1936, in Annapolis, he was the son of the late Albert and Della (Miller) Fahland.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years: Wanda (Street) Fahland; three children: Cheryl Burris, Paige Fahland and Scott Fahland; three stepchildren: Carolyn Boatwright, Elizabeth Harrold and Charles Boatwright; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one brother: Ivan Fahland; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
He was preceded in death by two stepchildren: Reba Battles and Lora Radatz; and six siblings.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at Cozean Memorial Chapel, 217 West Columbia St., in Farmington. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Cozean Memorial Chapel and Mortuary.
