Tolbert, Tracy

Tracy Lee Tolbert, 59, of De Soto died July 16, 2021, at his home. Mr. Tolbert was a quality control inspector at McCay Tool and Engineering. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in De Soto and Knights of Columbus Council 1185. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. Born March 1, 1962, in Kennett, he was the son of the late Landon Tolbert and Phyllis (McDonald) Poole.

He is survived by his wife: Connie (Jennings) Tolbert of De Soto; a son: Kyle (Cayla) Tolbert of Festus; two daughters: Brooke (Josh) Holland of Hillsboro and Madison Tolbert of De Soto; six grandchildren: Bailee Tolbert, Kaydin Thorne-Tolbert, Rebecca Tolbert, Morrigan Holland, Kyler Tolbert and Kian Holland; a sister:  Linda Randel; his mother-in-law: Mabel (Krodinger) Jennings; his stepfather: G.W. Poole; a stepsister: Lesa (Kevin) Schutte; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces great-nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law: James “Bud” Jennings; a brother: Kim Tolbert; and a stepsister: Gayla Poole.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in De Soto. Burial is in the Calvary Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to a memorial account in Mr. Tolbert’s name at PNC Bank, 224 South Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
