Timothy John Arnold, 66, of Festus died Jan. 22, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Arnold worked as a police officer with the Festus Police Department for 30 years until his retirement in 2015. A Christian of the Baptist faith, he was an avid hunter, enjoyed the outdoors, working in his yard, spending time with his beloved dogs, Crixsus and Cooper, and most of all spending time with his family. Born Jan. 16, 1955, in Festus, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Rita (Mercille) Arnold.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years: Rhonda (Raspberry) Arnold of Festus, whom he married on Feb. 5, 1989, in Festus; a son: Corey (Pam) Arnold of Bonne Terre; four brothers: Richard (Pam) Arnold of St. Louis, Terry Arnold of Imperial, Scott Arnold of Barnhart, and Brent Arnold of Kimberling City; two sisters: Kathy Yuengel of Crystal City and Llori Hummell of Festus; three grandchildren: Caity, Grace and Jon Arnold; a brother-in-law: Gaylon Raspberry of St. Louis; his mother-in-law: Kathaleen McKay of Clarkton; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family requests that memorials be made in Mr. Arnold’s memory through prayer. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
