Sharon Lynn Sesseman, 62, of Arnold died Sept. 21, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Imperial. Ms. Sesseman had worked as a cosmetologist, dental assistant and in-home caregiver. She enjoyed shopping, painting, drawing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Born Feb. 19, 1959, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Donald Gurvis Ford and Kathy (Mickan) Smith.
She is survived by a daughter: Jessica (Ryan Smith) Sesseman of Imperial; a brother: Gary (Roberta) Ford of Arnold; four grandchildren: Adelynn Sanders, Hazel Smith, Tucker Smith and Olivia Smith; and a niece: Melissa O’Neail.
A funeral service was held Sept. 25 at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus, officiated by Pastor Mark Rudanovich. Burial was in the Annapolis Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Backstoppers or to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
