Norma Lee Pullen, 89, of Festus died Nov. 4, 2019, at the Scenic Nursing Center in Herculaneum. Mrs. Pullen worked for 50 years as a medical records clerk at Jefferson Memorial Hospital (now Mercy Hospital Jefferson) in Crystal City. She was a member of Calvary Christian Center in Festus. She volunteered for many years at the Jefferson Country Rescue Mission in Pevely. She enjoyed painting and traveling.
Born May 22, 1930, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Dewy and Gladys (Rowe) Walk.
She was preceded in death by two husbands: Paul Ames and Roman Pullman.
She is survived by a son: Paul Kenneth (Kathy) Ames of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; three daughters: Melissa (Dennis) Erfling of Springfield, Mary Sue (Gary) Veal of Arnold and Barbara Ames of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Robin Ames and Linda Ames.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 9, at Calvary Christian Center in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Luke Morris. Burial will follow at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to Jefferson County Rescue Mission, 8943 Commercial Blvd., Pevely, 63070. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Funeral Home in Festus.
