Monty Albright, 77, of Hillsboro died Aug. 27, 2019, at The Villas in De Soto. Mr. Albright owned and operated Albright’s Upholstery House with his wife Terri. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the De Soto Community Church of God. Born July 20, 1942, in Cairo, Ill., he was the son of the late Mary Bell (Corbitt) and Ralph Albright.
He is survived by his wife: Teresa “Terri” Albright of De Soto; five children: Laura (Tom) Wilson of Herculaneum, Amy (Chad) Courtney of Cedar Hill, Brian Patterson of Cedar Hill, Laura (Brad) Kinney of Byrnes Mill and Kevin (Darcy) Patterson of Crestwood; two brothers: Bill (Shirley) Albright of Centre, Ala. and Jim (Billy) Albright of LaVon, Texas; seven grandchildren: Megan Wonsewitz of Scott City, Josh (Cheyenne) Courtney of House Springs, Alex (Kaylee) Courtney of House Springs, Hanna Boyer of Byrnes Mill, Abby Courtney of Cedar Hill, Elizabeth Kinney of De Soto and Sterling Patterson of Crestwood; and a great-grandson: Finn Courtney.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Mickey Albright; and a sister: Nancy Albright.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral service will follow immediately after, officiated by Ron Culp. Memorials may be made to the De Soto Food Pantry, P.O. Box 552, in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
