Matthew William Fox, 38, of Branson died Jan. 10, 2020, at his home. Mr. Foxx began working in construction at age 16 and most recently worked in maintenance at Missouri State University in Springfield. He enjoyed working with his hands, being on the water, boating, fishing, the beach, sunshine, palm trees, four-wheeling, exploring, and spending time with family members and friends. Born March 31, 1981, in St. Louis, he was the son of Mark and Trudy (Waddell) Foxx of St. Louis.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 12 years: Kristina (Trucks) Foxx; four children: Landen Foxx and Adalynne Foxx of Branson, Senior Airman Edward Foxx of Montana and Alexander Foxx of Festus; a sister: Robin (Gene) Coleman of Cedar Hill; his grandmother: Louise Foxx of Lemay; his parents-in-law: Clyde and Nancy Trucks of Branson; two sisters-in-law: Kara (Joe) Tricomi of Godfrey, Ill., and Stephanie (Nathan) Fischer of Granite City, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather: William Foxx.
A celebration of life will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Granite City First Assembly of God Church, 2317 Madison Ave., in Granite City, followed by a memorial service at noon. Memorials may be made to a GoFundMe account set up on behalf of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home in Branson.
