Larry Wayne Pinson, 50, of De Soto died Sept. 9, 2019, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in De Soto. Mr. Pinson participated in the Special Olympics when he was younger. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, swimming, Cardinals baseball games and barbecuing. Born Aug. 7, 1969, he was the son of the late Lawrence Lee Pinson and Mary Blucker.
He is survived by a daughter: Elizabeth Pinson; a grandfather: Glennon Lee Pinson; two brothers: Chris Pinson and Ray Elliott; three sisters: Rhonda Douglas of Park Hills, De Onna Alhersmeyer and Tonya Algieres; two aunts: Brenda (Pinson) Ladd of De Soto and Glenda (Pinson) Bland of North Dakota; three uncles: Randy D. Pinson of De Soto, James E. Pinson of De Soto and Robert J. Pinson of Olympian Village; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother: Ethel (Sansoucie) Pinson.
A celebration of life will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the De Soto Community Center, 400 Boyd St. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
