Kevin Anthony Anderson, 25, of Herculaneum died Feb. 14, 2020, at his home. Mr. Anderson learned and worked in concrete finishing with his uncle for seven years until last year, when he followed his passion to become a tattoo artist. He accepted Christ at age 12 and was a member of Buren Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Herculaneum. He enjoyed working out, healthy eating, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Born April, 15, 1994, in St. Louis County, he was the son of Keith Andre Anderson Sr. of Herculaneum and Irene Yvonne Frank Anderson of O’Fallon, Ill.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother: Keith Andre Anderson Jr. of O’Fallon, Ill.; a sister: Candice Anderson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; his grandmother: Dora Anderson; numerous other family members and friends; and his dogs, Apollo and Athena.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at the funeral home, officiated by Reverend Martinous Walls. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Crystal City. A luncheon will be held at the Amvets Post in Herculaneum. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
