Karen Marie Toth, 66, of Ballwin died Feb. 18, 2021. Mrs. Toth graduated from Cor Jesu Academy and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Maryville University. She was a medical technologist at St. Luke’s Hospital and Quest Diagnostics and was a laboratory director at CareSTL Health. She enjoyed gathering with family and friends, cooking, traveling, especially to Florida, and trivia nights and the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues. Born Dec. 27, 1954, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Vera (Mraz) and the late Alvin Riebold.
She is survived by her husband: Richard Toth; two children: Maria Toth and Peter Toth; a sister: Donna Jean (Michael) Gleason; two cats: Gypsy and Binx; and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road, in Ballwin, and continue at 9:45 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the funeral home, followed at 10 a.m. by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 567 St. Joseph’s Lane, Manchester. Burial will be in St. John's Parish Cemetery in High Ridge. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory.
