Judith Ann “Judy” Zoellner, 77, Festus
Judith Ann “Judy” Zoellner, 77, of Festus died Aug. 2, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Zoellner was the office manager for First United Methodist Church in Festus/Crystal City for many year, and she was a member of Our Lady Catholic Church in Festus. She donated tissues and organs through Mid-American Transplant in the hope of helping others and will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Born May 18, 1944, in Perryville, she was the daughter of the late Rosealee (Pecaut) Oberndorfer and Cyril Cattoor.
She is survived by her husband: Wayne Zoellner; two sons: Jeff (Ann) Zoellner of Jefferson City and Kevin (Karen) Zoellner of Jefferson City; a sister: Carol (Roger) Brown of Brewer; five grandchildren: Joseph Zoellner, Jack (Gabby Lannert) Zoellner, Abby Zoellner, Andrew Zoellner and Ryan Zoellner; a great-grandson: Lukas Zoellner; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son: Bryan Zoellner; and her stepfather: Vernon Oberndorfer.
A memorial gathering will be from 9 a.m. until a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 10) at Our Lady Catholic Church, 1550 St. Marys Lane, in Festus, officiated by Father Gregory Klump. Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation, 3800 Park Ave., St. Louis, 63110. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
