Jason Edward “The Big Jay” Helferstay, 47, of High Ridge died June 17, 2019, at his home. Mr. Helferstay owned Jay’s Cornhole and Get Exposed Graphics. Born Nov. 25, 1971, in St. Louis, he was the son of Marion (Smith) and Steve Helferstay.

He is survived by his wife: Robyn “Rockin’ Robyn” Helferstay; four daughters: Karissa (Carl) McCollum, Julia Helferstay, Brittany Banger and Erin Banger; four grandsons: Brayden Holzem, Ashton Greene, Owen McKenna and Jameson McCollum; a brother: Eric (Shawn) Helferstay; a nephew: Nick Helferstay; a niece: Paige Helferstay; and his dog: Snoop Dog.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Steven L. Helferstay Jr.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Aug. 4, at Bee Tree County Park in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the Open Door Animal Sanctuary in House Springs or Leaps of Love in Highland, Ill.
