Janet Isebell, 64, of High Ridge died May 16, 2019. Mrs. Isebell’s greatest joy was caring for her kids and grandchildren. She was a homemaker who also worked for a time as a dental assistant. She was a very good cook and baker. She could create a handcrafted item out of almost anything she laid her eyes on. Once she made a robe for her husband out of curtains. She also made quilts and often gave them as special gifts to her family.
Born May 23, 1954, in Denver, she was the daughter of Lillian (Ezell) Lang, who died May 19, 2019, and the late Lawrence Lang.
She is survived by her husband: Joe Isebell of High Ridge; two children: Chelsea (Matt) Pullen and Brandon (fiance Rachel) Isebell; two grandchildren: Brittany (Alex) Boughan and Breana (Matthias) Redman; three great-grandchildren: Kolby Boughan, Quentin Boughan and Ariah Redman; two siblings: Bruce (Joann) Lang and Diane (the late David) Padgett; and many friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
