Herman L. Harmon, 83, of Barnhart died Nov. 7, 2019. Mr. Harmon loved his wife, children and grandchildren. Born June 6, 1936, in Potosi, he was the son of the late Lucy (Vance) and Carson David Harmon.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years: Elsie Ruth Harmon.
He is survived by a son: Dale (Tracy) Harmon; two daughters: Brenda (Harvey) Riddle and Kimberly (Russ) Ashlock; a sister: Beulah Niswonger; four brothers: Jimmy, Darrell Harold and Lindell Harmon; five grandchildren: Jeff, Tiffany, Chris, Crystal and Shelby; 11 great-grandchildren: Jayden, Paige, Joey, Benny, Annie, Macey, Devon, Alan, Jasmin, Arizona and Rusty Jae; four grandchildren-in-law; 12 great-grandchildren-in-law and two great-great-grandchildren by marriage.
He was preceded in death by five brothers: Johnny, Arthur, Narvel, Gene and Henry Harmon; and four sisters: Leoma Middleton, Laura Niswonger, Bertha Harmon and Anna Harmon.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the funeral home, followed by burial at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
