Debra Kay “Debbie” (Albers) Weimer, 68, of Hillsboro died Aug. 1, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Weimer retired from Bank of America in 2003 after 36 years of service. She also had worked for Midwest RV in south St. Louis County and for Sports Service at Busch Stadium. She enjoyed crafting, Cardinals baseball, camping and fishing in the Ozarks and all holidays, especially in the fall. She particularly loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was born Nov. 27, 1950, in Red Bud, Ill., the daughter of the late Norman and Pauline Albers.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years: Patrick Weimer, whom she married Oct. 30, 2004; two children: Jeffrey (Jenell) Meyer of St. Louis and Patrick Weimer Jr. of Valmeyer, Ill.; four siblings: Wayne (Kathy) Albers of Milton, Fla., Donna Baker of Hillsboro, Kris (Vince) Lacefield of Washington, Mo., and Patti Richardson of Lake of the Ozarks; three grandchildren: Jonathan, Rylee and Trey; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Braun Family Funeral Home, 265 Quarry Road in Columbia, Ill. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., officiated by Pastor Bill Liebmann. Private cremation will follow. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Braun Family Funeral Home.
