Conor Phillip Gustav Holtz, 26, of Festus died July 4, 2019, at Festus Manor Nursing Center. Mr. Holtz had worked as a landscaper and loved kids and dogs. A truly charismatic young man, he was an avid gamer and liked going to concerts, music, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Born Oct. 17, 1992, in St. Louis, he was the son of Jennifer (Smith) Holtz of Festus and Lee Holtz of Desloge.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Gary Edington III of Festus and Samuel Holtz of Festus; his grandparents: John and Beverly Smith of St. Louis and Phyllis Ganninger of Festus; four nieces and nephews: Evan, Raegan, Maximus and Amara; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Seth Edington.
Visitation is at 9 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus, officiated by the Rev. John Piet. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave, New York, NY 10065. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
