Betty Jean (Rogers) Roberts, 77, of Hillsboro died Feb. 5, 2020. Mrs. Roberts enjoyed antiquing, going to auctions and fishing. Born March 10, 1942, in Athens, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Willie Alma (Griffin) Rogers.
She is survived by her husband: Roy E. Roberts of Hillsboro; three children: Michael Roberts of St. Clair, Gretchen (Bill) Hoaglin of Grubville and Jeannie (Dion) Moore of Hillsboro; three siblings: Robbie Parish of Sappington, Jerry (Linda) Rogers of House Springs and Kathy (Glen) Sprankle; nine grandchildren: Micheal Roberts, Nicole (Josh) Hinson, Bob (Amy) McNulty, Jesse (Emily) Gullet, Mycah Hoaglin, Katy Hoaglin, Garrett Hoaglin, Ema (Brendan) McCart and Ely Gene Moore; and 14 great-grandchildren: Jonathon, Hub, June, Royce, Caroline, Leah, Levi, Carson, Cayden, Elaina, Macy, Nolan, Brantley and Audrey Grace.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Eurl Rogers, Presley Rogers and Curtis Rogers.
Funeral services were held Feb. 8 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
