A pair of rings valued at more than $1,700 were reported to have been stolen from a car parked on the Six Flags parking lot, Eureka Police reported. The theft occurred between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 27, the report said.
The victim told police she was unsure if she left her 2010 Chevrolet Malibu unlocked when she entered the amusement park. She said she put a diamond ring, valued at $1,600, and a single-stone ring, valued at $125, in a jewelry box, which was placed in the driver’s side door, the report said.
There were no signs of forced entry, and nothing else in the car was disturbed, according to the report.
On June 7, Capt. David Wilson said neither ring had been recovered and there were no suspects. Anyone with information about the incident should call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
