For the second time in less than a week, a tool box was damaged at a commercial construction site at Fogarty Services, an event-planning company at 1101 Intagliata Drive in Arnold. In the first incident, a stolen ATV was recovered there, and during the second incident, tools were stolen, Arnold Police reported.
The first incident happened between 10 p.m. Dec. 24 and 6:36 a.m. Dec. 26. The second one occurred between about 3:30 p.m. Dec. 28 and 6:45 a.m. Dec. 30, the report said.
Police first were called to the business after a tool box valued at $1,000 was discovered damaged. In addition, a 1998 Polaris 500 four-wheel ATV that had been reported stolen out of St. Louis County was found at the site, according to the report.
Nothing was reported stolen from the tool box or the work site. The ATV was held for St. Louis County Police to pick up, according to the report.
Then, officers were called Dec. 30 to the site, after the tool box was damaged again and tools valued at $825 were stolen. The victim is listed as Ahern Fire Systems, the report said.
As of Jan. 10, none of the stolen tools had been recovered and there were no suspects in either incident, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
