Two women and a man, all from Arnold, were arrested after one of the women allegedly threatened a Cedar Hill woman with a gun while they were stopped in traffic on Vogel Road. The episode started at about 10:30 p.m. on June 26, Arnold Police reported.
A 39-year-old Arnold woman reportedly was applying makeup while sitting in 2000 Jeep Cherokee stopped at a light on Vogel Road. The woman said the 42-year-old Cedar Hill woman, who was driving a car that was stopped next to the Jeep, laughed at her, the report said.
The Cedar Hill woman said the 39-year-old Arnold threatened her with the gun, but the Arnold woman said she only moved a gun that was next to her in the front passenger’s seat to the rear seat of the Jeep and asked the Cedar Hill woman if she had a “problem,” according to the report.
After the light turned green, the Jeep pulled into the parking lot of a Walgreens, 3937 Vogel Road. A 33-year-old Arnold man who was driving the Jeep and a 29-year-old Arnold woman who also was a passenger in the Jeep went inside the store, while the 39-year-old Arnold woman remained in the vehicle. The Cedar Hill woman called the police and reported the alleged threat with the gun, the report said.
Arnold Police arrived at Walgreens and arrested the 39-year-old woman. The man and the other Arnold woman were found in the store and questioned about the incident. An officer asked the 29-year-old woman to show him her ID and reportedly saw a glass smoking pipe in the woman’s purse, and after asking to look in her purse, the officer allegedly found a substance believed to be Fentanyl, according to the report.
Police also discovered the man was wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on an active warrant. He was arrested, and an officer allegedly found a substance believed to be Fentanyl in one of his pants’ pockets, the report said.
The three were taken to the Police Station, where they were booked. The women were released pending applications for warrants, and the man was held for the Sheriff’s Office, according to the report.
