The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a woman in connection with the theft of a 2016 Jeep Patriot from a home in the 500 block of Wideman Road near Catawissa and the Franklin County Line. The theft was reported at about 10:55 p.m. April 6, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

The victim said a family member had left the keys in the Jeep, the report said. A woman who had been at the home has been identified as a suspect in the theft, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said.

The vehicle was valued at $14,000. As of April 26, the Jeep had not been recovered, Bissell said.

He said no arrests had been made either. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
