The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of $1,300 worth of items from a home in the 3400 block of Wiltshire Lane south of Festus. The incident occurred between 7 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. June 11, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

It looked like someone forced open and damaged a rear window of the residence to get inside the home. Stolen items stolen included miscellaneous jewelry, a gift card to a home improvement store and an Apple iPad.

As of July 10, none of the items had been recovered and no arrests had been made, said Grant Bissell, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau at 636-797-5515.
