A 27-year-old Pevely man was arrested in Arnold after police allegedly found him with pills and drug paraphernalia. The incident happened just after noon Oct. 29, Arnold Police reported.
Police got a call after the man was denied access to a restroom at the Woodlands Skilled Nursing Center, 100 Woodland Meadows Drive. Officers later located the man in the parking lot at the nearby First Baptist Church of Arnold, 2012 Missouri State Road, the report said.
When the man was searched, officers allegedly found a metal grinder, other drug paraphernalia and blue pills believed to be Xanax in his coat pocket. He was taken to the Police Station, where he was booked and later released pending application for warrants, according to the report.
Depending on the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
