A 40-year-old Arnold woman allegedly was found with methamphetamine after she was arrested for trespassing at an abandoned lot on Jeffco Boulevard. A 49-year-old Arnold man and a 47-year-old Arnold woman were with the woman, and they were arrested, too, Arnold Police reported.
At 7:10 a.m. Aug. 17, the three were seen exiting a garage on the lot in the 1400 block of Jeffco Boulevard, where a house had been demolished. Police were called because the three were suspected of stealing from the garage, which is next door to the Midas auto repair shop, 1427 Jeffco Blvd., the report said.
When the three were arrested, an officer allegedly found meth in the 40-year-old’s purse. They were taken to the Police Station, where they were booked and later released pending application for warrants, according to the report.
Arnold Police will seek a charge for first-degree trespassing against all three. Depending on the results of the drug analysis, police also will seek a charge against the 40-year-old woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of meth, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
