A 16-year-old from Arnold was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $200 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s, 2150 Michigan Ave. He also allegedly was found with methamphetamine, Arnold Police reported.
Police were called at 5:57 p.m. Jan. 13 to the store after the teenager allegedly stole cell phone accessories and a pair of Nike pants. When officers found the teen in the store’s parking lot, they allegedly found the stolen merchandise, along with a change purse that contained a plastic bag filled with a substance that appeared to be meth, the report said.
The teenager was arrested and taken to the Police Station, where he was released to juvenile authorities, Capt. Rich Shular said.
