C.I.A. donates $500 to De Soto Food Pantry

The Community Improvement Association, which has a hall at 13466 Hwy. JJ in the De Soto area, recently donated $500 to the De Soto Food Pantry. The check was presented to the pantry on April 16. The $500 was one of several of the C.I.A.’s annual donations.

The association is a nonprofit group that was established in the 1950s. The C.I.A. hall hosts dances, music jams and a time for the public to socialize from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every Thursday.
