Two men – one from De Soto, the other from Imperial – were moderately hurt in a two-vehicle traffic collision Saturday afternoon (Nov. 2) at Hwy. 21 and Hwy. 110 in De Soto.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Steve Walker, 64, of De Soto was driving a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup south on Hwy. 21 at 2:37 p.m., and, while he was turning left onto Hwy. 110, drove into the path of a northbound 2004 Acura driven by James Westrich, 63, of Imperial, and the front of the pickup struck the front left side of the Acura.
Both men sustained moderate injuries and both were taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, the report said.
Updates on their conditions were not available.
Walker was wearing a seat belt but Westrich was not, the report said. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.
