The passenger in a Tuesday morning (Dec. 24) one-vehicle accident in Dittmer was seriously injured and flown for treatment to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
The patrol reported that at 8:31 a.m., Robert V. Haun, 48, Dittmer, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup eastbound on Ridge Road, west of Work Shop Lane, when he lost control of the vehicle and drove off the right side of the roadway, striking a tree.
Passenger Teresa J. Haun, 49, Dittmer, was seriously injured, the patrol reported, and flown by Life Flight to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, the patrol said.
Both the driver and passenger were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported. The Silverado was totaled.
