Steven A. Roberts, 44, of Hillsboro was seriously hurt Monday afternoon (Nov. 25) when the pickup he was driving was struck by another pickup at highways 30 and NN in Cedar Hill, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:55 p.m., Roberts was driving a southbound 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, and a 57-year-old Dittmer man, in a westbound 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, allegedly ran a red light, and the 2000 Silverado struck the left side of the 2002 Silverado, the report said.
No injuries were reported for the Dittmer man.
Roberts was transported by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was listed in satisfactory condition today (Nov. 26), a hospital spokesman said.
Roberts was wearing a seat belt, and the Dittmer man was not wearing one, the patrol reported.
The 2002 Silverado was totaled, and the other one was extensively damaged, the report said.
