Tyler B. Cullums, 34, of Hillsboro was injured Monday morning, July 4, in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. C north of White Road northwest of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 5:30 a.m., Cullums was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse north on the highway and ran off the road, where the SUV struck and embankment and overturned, the report said.
Cullums was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesperson said.
According to the report, Cullums was wearing a seat belt and the Traverse was totaled.
