A Fenton man was hurt in a three-vehicle traffic accident early Monday (Dec. 9) on I-44 in Fenton.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Andrew Rogers, 48, of Fenton was driving a 2019 Dodge ProMaster van east on I-44 east of Bowles Avenue at 6:35 a.m. when traffic began to slow because of a construction zone ahead. The front of the Dodge struck the rear of a 2010 Dodge Nitro driven by Lucas Diekmann, 39, of Eureka, which in turn hit the rear of a 2011 Dodge Charger driven by James Love, 45, of Eureka.
Rogers sustained moderate injuries and was taken by car to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
The report made no mention of injuries to Diekmann or Love.
All three drivers were wearing seat belts, the report said. The ProMaster van and Nitro had extensive damage while the Charger had moderate damage.
