A Fenton man was injured Friday evening (Nov. 15) in a four-vehicle accident on Hwy. 50 east of Greenstreet Road in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 5:33 p.m., Srikanth Kasinadhuni, 34, of Fenton was driving a 2015 Tesla Model S east on Hwy. 50 and crossed the center of the road, and the front of a westbound 2008 GMC Sierra struck the right side of the Tesla, the report said.
The impact from that collision caused the front of a westbound 1996 Toyota Tacoma to strike the rear of the Sierra, and then a westbound 2006 Dodge Ram ran off the right side of the road to avoid hitting the Tesla and instead struck a road sign, according to the report.
Richard E. Harmon, 40, of Gerald was driving the Sierra, Erik E. Klebba, 22, of Jefferson City was driving the Tacoma and Scott A. Hammel, 58, of St. Louis was driving the Ram. No injuries were reported for them.
However, Kasinadhuni was moderately injured and taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Washington, the report said.
All those involved in the accident were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Tesla was totaled, the Sierra was extensively damaged, and the Tacoma and Ram were moderately damaged, the report said.
