Wendy L. Roloff, 50, of Dittmer was hurt Tuesday evening (Oct. 8) in a two-car accident on Hwy. 30 east of Franklin Oak Court in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 5:01 p.m., a 48-year-old St. Clair man, driving a northbound 1997 Chevrolet Lumina, was turning left onto the highway from a private drive and allegedly failed to yield to an eastbound 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Roloff, and the front of the Lumina struck the right rear side of the Cruze, the report said.
No injuries were reported for the St. Clair man.
However, Roloff was moderately injured and taken by St. Clair Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Washington.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The two cars were extensively damaged, the report said.
Following the accident, the highway patrol arrested the St. Clair man who was wanted in Franklin County on an outstanding warrant for wearing no seat belt, according to the report.
