An Arnold woman was airlifted to an area hospital with serious injuries following a three-vehicle accident Monday (Dec. 6) on Telegraph Road in Arnold. Two others were injured in the accident, which closed Telegraph Road near Tenbrook Road for about two hours, authorities reported.

At 11:45 a.m., Tatyana V. Kozlova, 22, of Arnold was driving a southbound 2018 Toyota Corolla, and after the car ran off the right side of the road, she overcorrected and crossed the center line and struck the front of a northbound 2018 Freightliner Cascadia tractor-trailer driven by Russel R. Jackson, 69, of St. Clair, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

After that collision, the tractor-trailer struck a southbound 2018 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Lisa L. Beck, 48, of St. Louis. The car, SUV and tractor-trailer all went off the west side of Telegraph Road, the accident report said.

The Rock Community Fire Protection District responded to the scene to free Kozlova and Beck from their vehicles. The driver of the tractor-trailer did not have to be freed, Rock Fire public information officer Stephanie Jackson said.

Kozlova was transported by Arch Helicopter to SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital. An update on her condition was not available this evening.

Jackson was moderately injured, and Beck had minor injuries. Both were taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.

Jackson was in good condition, and Beck was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said Monday night.

All three drivers were wearing seat belts, and all three vehicles were totaled, the patrol reported.
