An Arnold woman riding a motorcycle was killed in a traffic accident Saturday afternoon (Sept. 14) on Lindbergh Boulevard in Frontenac in west St. Louis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Dawn Glenn, 56, of Arnold was riding a 2002 Harley-Davidson south on Lindbergh Boulevard at 3:11 p.m., and a 16-year-old female from St. Louis was driving a 2020 Range Rover Evoque north and was turning left onto Frontenac Plaza Drive when the motorcycle entered the intersection, slowed, and then struck the right side of the Range Rover.
Glenn was taken by the Creve Coeur Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where she was pronounced dead at 3:39 p.m., the report said.
The 16-year-old and a passenger in the Range Rover, a 13-year-old female from St. Louis, both sustained minor injuries and were taken by Creve Coeur Fire to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, the report said.
Updates on their conditions were not available.
Glenn was wearing a helmet and the teens were wearing seat belts, the report said. The motorcycle was totaled and the Range Rover had extensive damage.
