Rascal, shown in this 2018 photo, is well named, owner Kay Gowen of Festus said.
A 2-year-old toy poodle, Rascal has loads of energy, she said.
“He’s a rascal,” Gowen said. “We have two other poodles, Sugar, 15, and Spice 14 1/2. He (Rascal) is the little brother they tolerate most of the time. They’re not very energetic. He’s a puppy bouncing around.”
Gowen said she always has to keep an eye on Rascal.
“He can get out of the yard,” she said. “He’s just always into something.
“When my husband tries to take a nap, Rascal will squeak his squeaky toys. His favorite toy is a Lambchop, a little lamb.
Despite his boisterous personality, Gowen said Rascal is a loving pet.
“He’s affectionate,” she said. “He’s a very good dog. He’s good with kids.”
