Sharon Williams of rural Festus said her late cat, Candy, did not mind being dressed up for Easter, as shown in this photo.
“She just sat there and let me take her picture,” Williams said. “I don’t think she liked it, but she let me.”
Williams said she took in Candy, a part ragdoll cat, after someone abandoned her.
“She had been dumped,” Williams said. “We live out a rural lane and someone had dumped her off on our property.”
Williams said she and her husband enjoyed their time with Candy, who died about three months ago.
“We had her, probably, eight years,” Williams said. “We were very fond of her. She was the sweetest thing. She brought us great joy.”
