A St. Louis man was injured Monday morning, Sept. 18, in a one-car accident on I-55 south of Richardson Road in the Arnold area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:33 a.m., John T. Range, 32, of St. Louis was driving a 2005 Ford Focus south on the interstate when he swerved to avoid a slow-moving vehicle ahead and traveled off the right side of the road, where the car overturned, the report said.
Range was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where he was listed in good condition this afternoon, Sept. 20, a hospital spokesperson said.
According to the report, Range was wearing a seat belt, and the Focus was totaled.
